From PBA playoff games in Manila to international boxing title fights and global football leagues, 989jl Sports brings it all under one account — live odds, pre-game markets, and in-play betting, all in Philippine Peso.
Sports betting and Filipino fans have always gone together. Whether it's gathering around a phone in Cebu to watch a PBA game, following a boxing undercard from Davao, or tracking NBA Finals odds late at night in Quezon City — Filipinos take their sports seriously, and that passion extends to how people engage with the game beyond just watching.
989jl Sports is built around that same energy. The sportsbook covers the events that matter to Filipino bettors — starting with basketball, which sits at the top of the list — while also providing strong coverage of boxing, volleyball, esports, local and international football, and a wide range of other sports from around the world.
Everything runs through your standard 989jl account. There's no separate sportsbook wallet, no parallel registration, and no need to switch between platforms. Your PHP balance covers casino games, slots, eBingo, and sports bets from a single login. Deposits via local bank transfer, GCash, or Maya fund your full account — not just one section of it.
Sports betting is available pre-game and in-play. Pre-game markets open well in advance of the tip-off or kickoff, giving you time to review the matchup and the available bet types before committing. In-play betting keeps the action going once the game has started — odds shift in real time based on what's happening on the court or field.
One Account, All Sports — Your 989jl balance works across every sport in the sportsbook. No separate wallet or second account needed. All amounts in PHP.

Tennis UFC / MMA Golf BadmintonUnderstanding the bet types available is an important first step for any sports bettor, whether you're new to online wagering or switching from a different platform. 989jl covers the standard bet types across all major sports, with the exact markets available varying by sport and event.
The most straightforward bet — you pick which side wins the game or match. Available across all sports. For basketball, this means picking the winning team outright regardless of the point margin.
One team is given a head start and the other a deficit to level the betting field. Common in basketball betting — a team might need to win by more than a set number of points for the spread bet to pay out.
You bet on whether the combined score or total of a particular stat in the game will be over or under a set number. Popular for basketball — e.g., whether total points will exceed a given figure.
Combine multiple selections into one bet. All selections must win for the parlay to pay out, but the odds multiply across selections. Higher potential return comes with higher combined risk.
Place bets while the game is in progress. Odds update continuously based on the live score and game situation. Available on most major events including PBA, NBA, and international football matches.
Bet on a tournament or season outcome before it concludes — e.g., which team will win the PBA championship or which club will win the Premier League title at the end of the season.
989jl Sports displays odds in decimal format by default, which is standard across Asian sportsbooks. The displayed odds already include your stake in the return figure. Confirm your bet slip before confirming any wager.
